Working at El Mercado in San Antonio

Working (and tweeting) from El Mercado in San Antonio.

During the trip, I wished I had time to write about all the silly, crazy and fun stuff that happened to us — like when the raccoons tried to eat our surfboard wax, for example. Unfortunately, I barely had time to publish the content directly related to the blog’s topic, Latinos and the election.

Twitter was my escape. I used it to post updates on our location, on gas prices along the way, on new content I was posting, on anecdotes that didn’t make it into the posts, and on the music we were listening to on the car. Below, I copied a selection of tweets from the road. As in Twitter, the most recent is on top, so it’ll make more sense to scroll down and read from the bottom.

The whole stream of tweets is here.

***
